16 BIT TOWERDEFENSE

16 Bit Towerdefense is an retro themed rogue-lite tower defense. The goal of the game is finding a strategy to get as far as you can while spending as little gold as you can to get into the leaderboards. Every run will be a bit different due to the cards you can use. You can unlock special abilities for certain towers or buy population for a safety net and more gold. 

The combinable towers are currently:

Poison Dart Tower
DB Minigun on top RPG at the Bottom
Super Tower
All the towers combined in a 2x2 grid
Black Hole Tower
2 Slowing Crystals next to each other Horizontally.
Flame Thrower
2 Rpg next to each other Horizontally

Dev Notes:
16 Bit Towerdefence is a follow up of 8 Bit Towerdefense a game I made for a jam.
Currently the development of this game is on-hold due to the fact that I am uncertain of the interest in this game. I was supposed to make this game a commercial game and I was going to sell it on steam for around 4.99 after adding some more features. Or I was going to put it on there for free and allow customiseable boards and towers for a certain price. 

The features that were planned were some more combine-able towers.
Different paths the player would encounter for example:
1 path would take you through a dimension full of elemental based monsters. This would potentially unlock a new combineable tower.
1 would take you through a hell dimension.
1 would take you through a medieval dimension.
These dimensions would have had special unit types that would involve you having to change your strategy (build/upgrade different towers).

I may or may not fix bugs if they are present and do some balance updates if the games gets traction but I'm promising nothing.
